Jason and I have just been so super busy...we always have something going on. We live life in the fast lane but it is lots of fun. Two weeks ago we celebrated our one year ANNIVERSARY! WOW...I can't believe that it has been a hole year already. People always saw how fast life goes when you are having fun...and we are definitely having lots of it! I have always heard that the first year of marriage is always the hardest...well if this was the hardest year we will have then I can't wait for the rest! This one was one of the best years in our relationship. I couldn't have asked for a greater husband. Jason is wonderful! Thank you so much for an amazing year hunny!
To celebrate we went down to La Jolla for the weekend. It is so beautiful there...I had never been but I will definitely be going back. Saturday we left and went straight for the Del Mar Fair. It was so much fun...even though we didn't ride any rides (Jason doesn't like them).
After the fair we went to our hotel, the Embassy Suites in La Jolla. This hotel was so beautiful. It was so update with modern furniture and accessories. We quickly got changed for dinner and went to The Cove. There we walked around a bit looking for a restaurant and decided on Azuls...OMG! The food was so good. We got this Mediterranean dip assortment that we could stop eating. They sat us right next to the window over looking the cove which would have been great except it was late...therefore dark and we couldn't see out...We just had to wait for the morning.
The next morning we were up super early to get ready to go back to The Cove. We decided (last minute) to have anniversary photos taken. We never really did the engagement photos that everyone does and I really loved them so we did our own little twist. It was so much fun...I can't wait to see the photos and post them for you all to see. After the photos session we decided to stay in the cove and walk around. It was just so beautiful...you will see in the photos below! We left The Cove and headed up to San Luis Rey and for most of you that remember that is when we got married. Steve ( the owner of Paradise Gardens) was kind enough to allow Jason and I to come back and have dinner. He even set up a table and chairs with linens. It was so super romantic...just Jason and I walking around the same place we got married. Sometimes Jason has such wonderfully romantic ideas...yes that was Jason's idea! We stopped and grabbed Hawaiian food to remember our honeymoon before then after we ate we just sat in the swing and cuddled.
It was such a great weekend...I couldn't have asked for anything better...but there is more. So technically Monday was our official anniversary because of leap year it added an extra day... I had to go to work on Monday but after I met Jason at his work and we went out to dinner again! Chomp in downtown Fullerton...it was so amazing and the food was sooooooo good.
I couldn't have asked for a better weekend celebrating our anniversary. I know that there will be many more to come!
Check out the photos below...I will post the others as soon as I receive them.
