Trash the Dress

A few months back Jason and I did a very special photo session...Trash the Dress. Dont worry though it was not my wedding dress. When I found out about the shoot I was so excited. I had already had my dress preserved so I didn't want to take the risk of damaging it. I searched ebay, craigslist and the penny saver...finally I foud a great dress to trash. I felt terrible knowing that this dress would be ruined but I was so excited for a great day of fun with my husband and friends...Marci and Matt.

The day turned out to be so amazing...there were so many photographers we felt like celebrities. It started super early with hair and makeup. Then we were off. Each bride went off with a photographer and then we switched. This allowed diversity, both for the brides and the photographers. At the end of the day there was a special photo session that would take place...check below to see what. Each photographer is to provide the bride with a copy of their photos and in turn the bride gives the permission for the photographer to use the photos in their portfolio. The photos below were shot by Tod Hata...

I wanted to include a few photos of Matt and Marci.

Check back for more photos from other photographers soon!

Our Anniversary Photos

Yea...I just finish uploading all of our wonderful photos from our first anniversary photo session in La Jolla at the cove. Jason and I had so much fun with our photographer Heidi. She was great dealing with all the people and keeping them out of the shots. Here are some of the best ones...

4th of July

The 4th of July was an amazing weekend! The city of La Mirada puts on this amazing day at the park. Unfortunately I had to work and couldn't make it until after...just enough time to see the fireworks. Our friends Kelly, Albert and their little girl Lilly met us there. But let me tell you that parking is terrible. I don’t think that I had ever seen such an event. We set up our blankets on the grass and laid down looking up! The fireworks were great.

Jason has this brilliant idea to take the boat out. We launched out of Long Beach...which was disgusting...there was so much debris in the water. The water was terrible. It was so choppy. We wanted to go down to Dana Point and grab lunch then head back up to Long Beach. But we didn't make it that far. Try Huntington Harbor. It was still pretty great though checking out the amazing homes there and their boats. Then we went to Shoreline Village and dock the boat to walk around. Finally it was just about dusk and all the boats were headed back to the water. Some pretty big boats were out too! The fireworks started and they were amazing! The show lasted so long... check out some photos from the day and night
