Well Hello Again...

So I totally forgot about blogging...even though I have become a blog stalker and read a million blogs a day. Life just got really busy and I have not had the time to dedicate to it. So why the change now you ask...I have so much more free time...working full time, finishing up my last semester at CSUF (with 4 ridiculously hard classes...might I add), a second part time job and trying to help Jason with his business. I figured I could do it all...and most importantly I really like documenting my life so that I can go back 20 years from now and read all about ME! So until next time...

Valentines Day is here!

Well not really...it is acually Saturday...but it feels like it for me. Jason and I have never made a big deal of valentienes...day just dinner usually. But lately I haven't been wanting to deal with the crowds. Last year was nice Jason cooked a romantic dinner and I set up a candle lit table.

But this year wow! It all started yesterday...

UPS delived a package...a usual thing at my office, however, this one was for me. I looked at my boss thinking that it was from him...my long awated Christmas gift! He said no. I looked at the lable it was from Costco? I didn't order anything I thought. Oh well..so I opened it! A pretty red box tied with a gold ribbon...but the strange thing was the box was insliated with aluminum bubble wrap and an ice pack? HUH? So I opened the box and to my supprise a box of 6 chocolate covered strawberries and r6 aspberry flavored truffles. OMG! I was shocked but knew they had to be from Jason! I finally found a note that read "Will you be my valentine? I love you" AWWW! So no picuture yet I will update with one later...but let me tell you they are yummy!

I came into work today and while I was on the phone FedEx brought a package. I didn't even look at it and reached over to sign the machine and continued with my phone call. Finally when I was finished I looked over remembering that there was just a package delivered. It was a strange package but I knew what it was imediatly...not that I have ever had a package like it delivered to me before but have seen a few from co-workers. I grinned as I began to open it and stopped thinking that this would be a great thing to document with photos...I have been really into scrapbooking lately...so I grabbed a camera. WOW was this the most intensley wrapped package I have ever opened. It was velcroed, plastic wrapped, rubber banned and foam wrapped with water around the stems. It even came with a vase. I carfully took it apart, filled the vase with water, cut the stems and put it in the vase...I did not do a great job with aranging it yet but I will do that when I get home.

So as I said before my valentines day is here! I will post photos of the flowers bleow...

Well...sorry it took so long but here are the photos of the strawberries that I got...

This is the beautiful red box with gold ribbon it was wrapped in.
And finally the half eaten strawberries and rasberry truffles...sorry I could not help myself...I did not have my camera with me and they were so good!

Trash the Dress

A few months back Jason and I did a very special photo session...Trash the Dress. Dont worry though it was not my wedding dress. When I found out about the shoot I was so excited. I had already had my dress preserved so I didn't want to take the risk of damaging it. I searched ebay, craigslist and the penny saver...finally I foud a great dress to trash. I felt terrible knowing that this dress would be ruined but I was so excited for a great day of fun with my husband and friends...Marci and Matt.

The day turned out to be so amazing...there were so many photographers we felt like celebrities. It started super early with hair and makeup. Then we were off. Each bride went off with a photographer and then we switched. This allowed diversity, both for the brides and the photographers. At the end of the day there was a special photo session that would take place...check below to see what. Each photographer is to provide the bride with a copy of their photos and in turn the bride gives the permission for the photographer to use the photos in their portfolio. The photos below were shot by Tod Hata...

I wanted to include a few photos of Matt and Marci.

Check back for more photos from other photographers soon!

Our Anniversary Photos

Yea...I just finish uploading all of our wonderful photos from our first anniversary photo session in La Jolla at the cove. Jason and I had so much fun with our photographer Heidi. She was great dealing with all the people and keeping them out of the shots. Here are some of the best ones...
